Wow to think that Owen will be 2 weeks old tomorrow.....time sure has flown by!!!
Well we are done with our first week back at work and Ems first week flying solo. She did such a good job this week wrangling feedings and poop while trying to get some sleep. She has learned a lot this week about really how much work these babies are, that its truly hard to get showered before noon and just when you think your ready to go somewhere you have the pleasure to change another diaper.
We have also had interesting sleep habbits, for all of us, this week. One day we were awake from 1-3am, other days we all go to bed at 8pm and sometimes we just want to be held at 4:45am.........Owen that is. It sure has made for some very tiring and trying days this week, but we have survived. A bit wiser, a few more bags under the eyes, but 1 week closer as a family.
The picture today is of Owen ready to go have dinner out for the first time at Old Chicago in celebration of Ems successful first week home! Wish us luck.....now off to change Owens diaper quick because he just blew a load while typing this update.
