Minnetonka sunset

Happy wednesday!

The picture is from last night, ben and summit, out on the lake for a little cruise while em stayed home and had dinner with her friend jamie along with owen. This picture was taken at 725pm, cannot believe how early it gets dark.

Stayed home owen yesterday as he was not feeling well and had a nice with not much sleep for the three of us. The day went better but owen was still pretty fussy last night and did not go to bed finlly until almost 11, normal bedtime is 8. He is still not feeling too great this morning so em is going to bring him for his....4th dr visit this month (had three in a 7 day period at the beg of sept). Not sure if its an ear infection or teething.......

Well happy days all.

Happy 4th anniversary

Friday Mom and Dad celebrated our 4th anniversary!! We headed downtown to the Oceanaire for some delicious seafood. Nanna and Grandpa Mark had a fun time eating pizza and watching the Twins game with Owen. This was Owen's first time going to bed without Mom and Dad and he did fantastic! Amazing how our lives have changed in the past few years....we wouldn't change any second of it!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!

Watchin the rain

Good evening all-

Well the weather has sure changed a lot here in MN. What use to be 90F and humid is now 52F and dark at 730p. How the summer goes by sooo quickly. Every July 4th I say, before we know it summer will be gone....and so it almost is.

Nice evening with the family. Some left overs for dinner and then a little pre bedtime snuggles on the front porch watching the storm roll in. Nice relaxing eve after a busy day.

Well tomorrow is our 4th wedding anniversary, how time flies and how so much has changed (for the good) over these years. How lucky I feel to have such a wonderful family!!!!

Have a wonderful week.

Sooo tired...

Now that is one tired doggy. I wish I could say Summit is wiped because he played hard this evening, but just a walk was all this boy was able to get today. Poor Summy, Owen gets all the attention, but we'll get you to the dogpark this weekend!

Now Ben's off to bed as I feel about as tired as Summy......let's hope my sleeping skills are a little better than the grey one's and I actually sleep IN my bed.

Have a good rest of this short week all.

Friday Fun Day!

Happy Friday all!  Man is it cold out today!  Woke up to 57 degrees...no boating today!  Ben and Em took Friday off (again) to run some errands while Owen plays at school.
What's new you ask??  A LOT!!!  We said farewell to Uncle Scott today as he leaves for college.  Scott will be studying Nuclear Medicine at UW-Lacrosse.  We are so proud of him and will miss him tons!  Can't wait to see you for Thanksgiving Scottie!!
Auntie Jackie will be moving to Mason City, IA as she begins her first RN job on the Cardiac Floor of the Mason City hospital!!  YEA Jackie!  We are so happy for her and that she has landed this incredible opportunity.  We will miss her a ton as she will be moving to Iowa next weekend.
Ben celebrated his 31st birthday last week with a day at the Fair with Emily followed by a delicious dinner of Chilean sea bass and oysters - YUM!
Owen continues to amaze his parents by all the growing he is doing.  Last week was his 4 month check up and he remains in the 90th percentile for height and weight.  17lbs, 4 oz and 27inches tall.  That's our big boy!  He continues to drool like a faucet and we're anticipating some teeth in the near future.  Talking continues to be his favorite 'sport' as well as singing.  He has a wonderful routine at bedtime and continues to sleep through the next which we all love!
Emily was just promoted to a new buyer role at Target.  She will be buying product for See Spot Save (Target's version of the Dollar Store).  Emily has a lot to learn!!
Summit is effectively losing his sympathy weight and is looking nice and svelte these days thanks to a lot of swimming this summer.

Off to do some shopping and lunch for mom and dad's date day!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone....love from the Schulze Crew
