Hail storm

Got home in just the nick of time! 10min later a hail storm pelting quarter sized hail at the house and our poor friend Amelias car. It sustained some dent :( Let's hope the weather is nicer for some boating!

How do you spend your Thursday afternoon?

Ah, the week is over! Dad left last Sunday (yes on his first Father's Day) to Texas for work...Mom and O picked him up from the airport this morning. Once home we headed out for a day on the lake to celebrate a belated Father's Day! What have we been up to??? Last weekend we celebrated Uncle Scott's high school graduation with lots of family. Owen finally got a chance to meet the Iowa family and loved all the attention..Mom's aunt Sue and aunt Laura put on one amazing and very boy themed shower to honor Owen's arrival. We feel so lucky to have such loving and caring family. Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of you week.....off to do some swimming and most importantly relaxing on the lake!

Welcome summer! Took the family out for a late afternoon boat cruise and dinner. Water felt amazing, Summy is looking forward to swimming off his winter weight and O enjoyed a bottle al fresco...Friday off to do more of the same with Ben's 3 sisters....say it with me.....ah summa summa time......
